Who is who in SALTO PI?

• Brigita Medne, Coordinator (Youth Participation)
  Brigita focuses on youth participation mainstreaming and strategic approaches concerning this topic. She is responsible for the European Youth Participation Strategy, Youth Participation Toolkit and capacity building activities for the National Agencies of Erasmus+/European Solidarity Corps in this field. Previously, she has worked as a youth worker and educator with project management, participation, and sustainability as main topics.
   
• Joana Freitas, Coordinator (Participation in Education & Training)
  Joana dedicates her work to the expansion of SALTO PI to Education and Training with the aim of supporting its stakeholders in working with the priority of participation in Erasmus+. Making use of her professional expertise in education and internationalisation acquired both in non-formal and formal sectors, including Youth, VET and Higher Education, she is responsible for conducting strategic work and developing and adapting resources to foster the implementation of projects led by Education and Training that contribute to increasing quality participation.
   
• Kadri Maripuu, Coordinator (Digital Transformation)
  Kadri focuses on digital innovation and youth work, exploring topics like e-participation, digital youth work and the needs and development possibilities of European youth work. She is curious about top technologies in the market that could bring some new perspectives to our lives and simplify everyday tasks and excited about human communication and how to glue together teams from different backgrounds and cultures.
   
• Kelly Hrupa, Coordinator (Media & Information Literacy)
  Kelly leads projects related to Media & Information Literacy (MIL) in order to raise awareness about the direct connection between MIL and democratic participation and give youth field stakeholders inspiration and new skills to start MIL projects that have a positive impact on Youth Participation. She is organising events and developing content in cooperation with wide range of experts ranging from UNESCO and DW Akademie to regional MIL networks and youth work partners. She has spent 4 years supporting the thematic work of SALTO Participation & Information. She holds a Master’s degree in philosophy and is curious about problems related to critical thinking.
   
• Louis Biasin, Coordinator (Strategic Communication)
  Louis focuses on the capacity building of the network of National Agencies of Erasmus+ and the youth field in order to make youth work and youth participation more visible and recognised. He has experience in communicating public interest projects, working with local governments and in education. Having worked in a communication agency for a while, he has good understanding of professional communication work in different areas.
   
• Katrin Kaaver, Specialist
  Katrin is part of the SALTO PI as a specialist helping out with any kind of administrative problem-solving. She has a bachelor’s degree in information society and social wellbeing (former sociology, social work and social policy) and a minor in psychology from the University of Tartu.
   
• Raili Ots, Specialist
  Raili is supporting our team on administrative and communication tasks as a specialist. She also helps us with procurements and events management.
   
• Alexandre Fonseca, Coordinator (Youth Participation) - On leave
